Run opencode from your iPhone or iPad

opencode is a terminal UI through and through — which is exactly what CodeMote streams to your phone, pixel for pixel.

opencode is an open-source coding agent that lives entirely in the terminal, with a full TUI — panes, scrollback, session list and all. CodeMote streams real terminals from your own machine, so that interface arrives on your phone intact instead of being flattened into a chat window.

Bring your own model

opencode isn’t tied to one vendor — you point it at Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or a local model, and it works the same. That pairs naturally with CodeMote, which is agent-agnostic in the same way: whatever provider you configured on your computer is what runs, because it is your computer.

Launch it in a CodeMote terminal

Pair with a QR scan, open a terminal, and start it as usual:

$opencode

Navigate the TUI, approve edits and switch sessions from the phone. Because the shell runs on your machine, a long refactor keeps going when you background the app.

Running opencode on a headless server instead? The CodeMote CLI path works with no editor installed at all.

Questions

Does opencode's TUI actually render on the phone?
Yes. CodeMote streams a real terminal, not a chat transcript, so opencode's full TUI — panes, session list, scrollback — renders on your iPhone or iPad the way it does at your desk.
Which model providers can I use with opencode through CodeMote?
Any provider opencode supports. The agent runs on your own computer with the configuration you already have there, so CodeMote adds no restrictions of its own.
